As we begin our third year of implementing the Comprehensive Cancer Control (CCC) Plan, we look back and realize how far we've come. In the last three years we have established one of the most functional cancer control coalitions in the nation! We have increased our Commission on Cancer recognized treatment centers from two to five in the past three years. Individuals across the state are working in their communities to spread the word about cancer control and our collective actions are making a difference in the fight against cancer.
We continue to make progress on the objectives in the CCC Plan. This year the coalition has united to focus our efforts on impacting colorectal cancer. This is the first time the entire coalition has been cooperatively addressing one cancer topic. As we move forward with our activities, we need your continued support.
